In 2006, Barry Keoghan is Oliver, a young social climbing university student from a middle class family

who spends the summer at Saltburn estate, the home of the ultra wealthy family of his schoolmate Felix

played by Jacob Elordi.

Rosamund Pike and Richard E. Grant play Felix's naive and suspicious parents with conviction as they covert

Felix until they realize that there has been many dark and contentious events occurring in the family since Felix has

arrived.

Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe, and Carey Mulligan costar.

The film Saltburn engages in several sexual segments which appeared to shock some of the film goers.

Many viewers gasped audibly louder when they witnessed the nudity and the menstrual sequence than

when the murder scenes were revealed. That was the talk of the feature film Saltburn- the esalacious

scenes. However, these scenes should not be the major takeaway from this movie.

Saltburn is a well made film. Director Emerald Fennell does a fantastic job toggling the story lin- between the

sex and the drama. The cinematography is lovely as the camera pans along the lush green landscapes of

the Saltburn's sprawling estate. There is a great scene that introduces us to the Saltburn's long corridors

and extremely high ceilings and oversized entry doors. You, the viewer, understands why Oliver is

overwhelmed with excitement and adoration for Felix and his family and why Oliver may yearn to be part

of this rich and eccentric family.- at any cost.
