Based on Marvel Comics superheroes, Deadpool and Wolverine bring a unique combination of action, humor and violence that is brand friendly to the core base of comic book fantom. Deadpool and Wolverine must work together to defeat villains who are destroying timelines that may have fatal consequences.
Ryan Reynolds returns as Deadpool. Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine. Both Canadian actors are as beloved as their comic book counterparts.
Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Aaron Stanford, and Matthew Macfadye
Love the casting. Emma Corrin is fantastic and mesmerizing as Professor Xavier’s evil twin. Morena Baccarin is back as Vanessa. Deadpool’s long suffering love interest who should have had a more expansive role. Rob Delaney is lovable Peter Wisdom. Beautiful Leslie Uggams is hilarious as wise cracking Blind Al, handsome Aaron Stanford is a fire manipulating mutant. Matthew Macfadye is perfect as the profoundly shady and slimy Mr. Paradox.
The cameos are worth the price of the ticket as the viewing audience appeared surprised and flabbergasted to see ageless Jennifer Garner (looking gorgeous), handsome Wesley Snipes, Tatum Channing, Matthew McConaughey, Henry Cavil and Chris Evans, to name a few. There are also numerous video clips from past Marvel Projects. Additionally, previously viewed media can be seen as the credit rolls. Stay for the post credit scene.
The music was awesome with Rob Simonsen credited as music composer and Dave Jordan credited as music supervisor. The delightful soundtrack includes Madonna, “Like A Prayer”, Aretha Franklin, Backstreet Boys, The Platters, Waylon Jennings and The Greatest Showman Ensemble amongst the listings.
